I can't believe that it has been 9 months already since I was laying on the hospital bed, pushing with every ounce of my being. Trying to bring my baby into this world. After 30 hours of labor, LoveBug finally made her appearance.
It is exciting to watch her grow and change every day. From finding her little fingers and toes to figuring out how to roll over, to sitting up on her own, and now our latest adventure, crawling. My cousin told me that when she starts to get mobile all bets are off. Just because you set her down on the floor in the living room, doesn't mean she will be there 2 minutes later. I had no idea what I was in for.
Now that she's found out that she can move around on her own, she is so much fun! She can now pull herself up to her knees at the couch, ottomans and, when I'm laying on the floor with her, me. She loves it! It makes me so happy to see the look of accomplishment on her face. She smiles and giggles like it's the greatest thing in the world. And I guess since she is just 9 months old, it is!
She becomes more like a 'person' every day. More expressive. More inquisitive. Always looking for something to chew on. Which now has become painful for anything with a nervous system. With 4 teeth and 1 or 2 more coming in, she has been chewing on just about everything!
But with those teeth she can now chew on food as well as toys. She loves those puffs and "Cheetos" type snacks by Gerber. It was amazing the first time I saw her grab one and put it in her mouth. She was excited and just kept on going. And hasn't stopped since!!
